The actual death record of a Thomas VICKERY of Thamesville, Ontario on 23 March 1910 is available to view on IGI Family Search. It states that he was aged 76, born 6 January 1834 in England, retired Farmer, married, father Thomas VICKERY born England, mother Jane RIDSON born England.

You may already have this, but trying to get my thoughts in order: 1871 census of Howard, Bothwell, Ontario shows Thomas VICERY aged 62 born England, Farmer, & Jane VICERY aged 61 born England. However, so far I am having a decided lack of success in tracing either Thomas snr or Jane in England.

Alison and I found this at the beginning of the week but we could not be certain that it was the correct couple. However, this death record gives credence to it.

No wonder I didn't find it. Ancestry, FMP and Family Search have transcribed her as Judith RITSON - that's my excuse anyway!
