Hi all, I hope I find you all well, it's been a while since I posted as my research has taken me away from the internet and on to more traditional methods in recent weeks. I am looking for the marriage of Richard Williams born Knighton, Radnorshire, on the 6th June 1899 he married before 1939 as they were living at Dundas Road in Sheffield. His wife's name was Violet, born June 22nd 1906. I have no maiden name. Between 1911 and 1939 he was around the Bradwell area of Derbyshire. I have tried various search terms but have drawn a blank. There is a birth reg for Violet Spence Sept qtr 1906 Ecclesall B. 9c 360 There is a Spence family in 1911 in 117 Brompton Road Sheffield including Violet age 4 RG14 PN27988 SN137
There is a birth reg to Williams mmn Spence Arnold Williams Dec qtr 1928 Sheffield 9c 709 I cannot find a death for Arnold that fits (up to 1939 - no children on the 1939 reg with Richard and Violet) . There is a death in 1998 in Sheffield though, dob 15/10/1928 (Dec qtr 1998)
It looks like this Arnold WILLIAMS is living in Bakewell in 1939 - possibly a grandson of Catherine WILLIAMS who was born in 1872. Bradwell is only 10 miles from Bakewell, so a possibility after all?
