Can anyone read the name of the street on the burial entry below, please?



The burial took place at St Saviour's, Southwark on 18th August 1832.

In fairness, it didn't help that the name was shadowed by another entry.

America Street still exists. It wasn't there in 1795 but it was there in 1819 (screen shot below).

The only reason I mention this is that in 1795 Great Guildford Street was called Bandy Leg Walk . So unPC - so much more interesting!! (Time for bed methinks....).

Perhaps it was changed from Bandy Leg to America after the bandy legged cowboys in America.
