Yes it is, it is one of those parishes that is in two Counties, Co Tipperary and Co Ofally name of the parish is Moneygall

Taley or Laley but my guess is the former. It sounds Irish to me.

Changed my mind.....Laley.

I'm going with AM on Laley, when you search on Anc under Ireland lots of that name come up. The word after Egan looks like Minmore to me. Not so sure on Mary Hirst, but don't know what else it might be. Looks like Minmore after Mary Ann ?Hirst.

Laley was my take on the name, but I have never heard of it.
I wonder if is says Mary Ann Hirst minor,
although Sis may be right the word being the same as the place name above.

Thank you all, looking at the whole page there are inconsistencies with some entries having the abode for both the parents and the god parents and some just for the parents. So will go with Minmore although the only Minmore i can find is the one that MM pointed out in post 2.
