My friend who collects silhouettes has one dated 1833 but we are unable to fully read what is written on the back.

We have some ideas, but would be grateful if the super sleuths here are able to help in any way. :)

I think this is your chap - the notice appeared in several papers, this is from the Westmoreland Gazette 8th February 1840
