Knows where to find the answers!
Does anyone have access to Quarmby cum Linley non conformist records (not on Anc that I can find, some on FMP)?
I am looking for the children of Robert Walker and Betty Wood married 1807 Almondbury All Hallows W.R. of Yorkshire.
I have found baptisms for the following:-
Joseph 3/3/1815
Sarah (Sally) 22/10/1816
Harriet 15/4/1821
From the 1841 census I know there are more children -
John c1811, Elizabeth c1822, Robert c1826, Samuel c1827 and there may be more

Thank you

I initially used another site to look for these Walker children and discovered that their births/baptisms were recorded in TNA Piece Nos. 2748 and 2749.

I then searched for one of the children in Ancestry's collection called "England & Wales, Non-Conformist and Non-Parochial Registers, 1567-1936", which is at
Code:
http://search.ancestry.co.uk/search/db.aspx?dbid=2972
- and for some reason it's listed under Baptist registers, probably because the pieces include Baptists as well as Wesleyans.

Getting to the start of that collection might be enough for you to search for the children, but if not you can browse the registers - on the right select RG4 - Yorkshire - Baptist, and pieces 2748 and 2749 are in the list that appears.

Based on the list that I found on the other site, some of the children you mentioned seem to have a father with a different name, so there may be some untangling to do. Unfortunately there were a lot of Walkers there, but hopefully Ancestry's search will help you sort them out.

With your guidance @arthurk, thank you again, I have spent a rainy few hours going through those registers. Sadly I didn't find anything more than I had before. I was hoping to fill in the gap from the marriage in 1807 to John in 1811, but nothing.
My next quest is to find out the parents of Betty Wood. So many to chose from, so was hoping for useful names in her children, no such luck though.

Joseph (1815), Sarah/Sally (1816), and Harriet (1821) are confirmed in the Salendine Nook Baptist registers (RG4/2748 & RG4/2749). John (~1811), Elizabeth (~1822), Robert (~1826), and Samuel (~1827) show in the 1841 census but may not all be in the chapel registers. Try searching Ancestry or FamilySearch with parents Robert Walker and Betty Wood, focusing on RG4/2749 for the younger children. You might also check nearby Wesleyan Methodist records just in case.

Thank you @carolgenealogy197

At present my FH files are packed for a house move (finger's crossed) but once we are settled, I will get back to my research and will follow up on your advice.
