Oo-er!Can drink tea if necessary if offered but coffee for me and partial to a Vanilla latte. However I recently heard of a London Fog Chai latte - various forms but basically Earl Grey, steamed milk, vanilla extract with a drizzle of honey (lavender optional) Want to try this.
That’s putting it mildlyOo-er!![]()
I don't have a steamer so I guess that lets me outOo-er!![]()
Love the aroma of freshly ground coffee.I agree I reckon that it taste like perfume as well. It’s terrible. I also hate the smell of coffee, there is nothing worse than that smell of fresh coffee grinds.
Absolutely!I agree with the smell of fresh ground coffee, but why adulterate it with the smell and taste of boiled milk![]()
I’m an absolute coffee snob. Do not like instant coffee at all but if I have no choice, it’s milk before the water and plenty of it. I’m a lover of my coffee pods. Nescafé Dolche Gusto. 1 cup early morning of Cafe Au Lait...
The trick is not to let the pot draw or don't dunk the teabag too many times! I find it tastes like some horrible medicine if overdone. Two of three dips is perfect for me, but no milk as is traditional. As for coffee- I used to guzzle six cups a day when I worked in research but now cannot drink more than one latte before I shake like a leaf!Earl Grey! Once was enough. I can still taste it.![]()
Until the inevitable day when the coffee comes out lukewarm or not at all because you haven’t descaled. My DG Cafe au lait pod is poised to slot into the machine with my mug underneath, ready for when the alarm goes off at 5.45. I cannot get up without it!
That’s why no coffee after 11 am or so. Can’t sleep at night if I do. Thanks for the Earl Grey tip but I think I’ll pass. The trick is not to let the pot draw or don't dunk the teabag too many times! How about having a nice cup of tea .........Bulk supplies on their way from a certain big online retailer but these are not due until tomorrow afternoon. Whatever shall I do..?

How on Earth did you let that happen? ALWAYS have one box in reserve. I’d be in the car and straight to the supermarket, even if it is a bit more costly, and picking up a takeaway on the way, from the closest coffee shop or servo if they have coffee. (Servo=petrol station, some of our servos have barista coffee, second rate but better than instant from the back of the kitchen cupboard)Happily not today. I have, however, just had my last pod.

And was it?I have the grandchild staying over. Luckily I found an emergency half box of espresso.
"Gramaaaa! Is it time to get up yet?" (3.45am).
