Thank you very much for that. I was so intent of trying to find her burial I completely forgot to look elsewhere on the site.Civil Registration didn't start in Scotland until 1855, and unfortunately burial records can be quite thin on the ground for Scotland.
Ive had a quick look at the Kirk Sessions and there's a mention of them in the MInutes for 1828 as follows:
Bows & McCulloch
James Bows & Margart McCulloch his wife compeared & having confessed guilt of antenuptial fornication were absolved after having been rebuked

Thank you for trying.Unfortunately I wasn't able to find anything else. Sometimes you can find a record in the accounts book, but it doesn't appear to have survived for the period you need.
