Help please

Could anyone help with this? It is (hopefully) the baptism record of my ancestor called Randle Somerfield but I cannot make out if any parents are mentioned.

It appears that the infant's name is missing and that the father of the boy is Randle Somerfield, but it would be interesting to see the line above to be sure

Thanks for this. It seems as if the christian name has been omitted, and as the writer uses the same abbreviation of 'fil' for both sexes you can't tell if the child is a son or daughter.

their are lots of randle somerfields on ancestry which date one are you looking for some transcriptions have parents and yes i know not all correct but might help

It was the one from 1703 to 1763. - I have found the one I was looking for thank you. My 6th great grandfather. He had a son out of wedlock to Elizabeth Bolton a Randle Bolton. There seems to have been a fair few Randles - cousins uncles etc. Sorry for the late reply.
