Question of poll books and electoral registers

Puts the Heart into Hertfordshire
In the poll book below, Solomon Richards lives in Shipley, Sussex. Next to him in the column headed place of freehold is a word repeated for other people. Can anyone tell me what it says, and what it means?

I think it is an abbreviation but not for a place name.
I've looked at the poll book (on Ancestry) and for several pages following (for different parishes and towns) the same word appears in the same way.
I thought it might mean "as above", but that doesn't make sense in every case.
