Charles Frederick Smith 1880 - WW1 RAF Record?

Charles Frederick Smith was born 7 June 1880 in Stowmarket.
My Cousin who is co-searching our Family History has sent me RAF Service Reference: AIR/79/57/4372. I have tried the Forces War Records, but this reference isn't recognised.
I have rechecked. Unfortunately the original notes he made were scrapped.
Any help please?

FMP have the service record for a Charles Frederick Smith of Weatherden
3rd battalion Suffolk Regiment service number 4823 enlisted 1897 stating age 19 (b1878)
His next of kin listed as James Smith Weatherden, but this has been crossed out and wife Maud entered.
A marriage to Maud Taylor in July 1908 is added then 3 children Ellen Maud, Lily May, Charles Robert.
This family can be found on the 1921 census, in Weatherden, where Charles now says born 1880
There are 4 more children including a son born in 1915 with the name Amentier Ypres
Does this sound like your man?

The Smith family lived in Wetherden for many years

Charles Frederick was born on 7 June 1880. Father James Smith. (From the Wetherden County School Admissions Register). On FreeBMD from May 1880 to Dec 1880 Stow Registration. (Wetherden falls within the Stow Drisration Disrtict). There are only two Charles Frederick Smith births registered, both in September 1880. So one has to be CFS.

Marriage. I have likely gone down a rabbit hole on this. I was looking at a marriage to Florence Cubitt, in Stowmarket. However your note that his Service Record next of kin changed from Smith to his wife Maude has to be the right Marriage. Would like to have details of marriage/children and where. If too long to put onto this thread could you please send me a direct message
