Hi Jan and Doug,

Thank you for inviting me to join your lovely forum - I am delighted to be part of it. I feel like I'm at a family reunion with all the familiar names on here.

I've not been researching my family history all that long really and have quite a few brick walls - think a couple of them are about 30ft high lol:eek:

I try when I can to help other members - so if others think I'm talking rubbish ( I probably am ) ha ha...but bare with me.

Can't wait to have a good look round and enjoy the banter we once had in a far away land.....if you get my drift.

Best wishes for the future and I hope it go's from strength to strength.

I am so pleased that you are feeling at home already, so kick those shoes off, get comfy and have a good old rootle round.
 
Shoes already off, chillin on my bed - cup of tea in one hand and stuffing my face with crisps with the other - bang go's the diet again lol...:oops:
Now you come to mention it Mutters I think I do remember that bloke in the corner but his name just slips my mind ha ha.
These crisps are burning my tonge....

If the offer to 'bare with me' still stands I'm going to like this forum even more than I thought. Sounds fun.....but hopefully your 'bare all' event will be indoors given the weather today.;)

Lovely to see you too. this site is growing by the minute - can you imagine if we had to buy xmas presents for each other - the list would be huge lol:)
