4 new photos in my unidentified photos album

It looks like a mayoral chain, or something very similar.

ETA If you type 'mayoral chain' into google images, you might even find the exact same one?
 
Thank you all for your help and information. I am now sure that it is a Mayoral Chain. I have looked at some images on google, but so far none look quite right. I have been having a look through the historical records for lists of Mayors. So far no names jump out at me. Knowing the approximate date and the name of the city would be a great help. I am going to go back on to google and have another look at the images that they have. I might get lucky.

None of the faces on the WWI photos look at all familiar to me, but they must have some significance to my family otherwise the photos would not be in the album.
 
Completely left field but could it be something to do with the Women's Institute or something similar? Also, what is medal/brooch the other lady is wearing? Are they from the same organisation?

Along with a Mayor there is a Sheriff too with a smaller chain - could it be this? Unfortunately I cannot see anything on the medal/brooch the lady is wearing.
 
Do you think the photo is taken in England? Could they be mother & daughter or sisters? :rolleyes:
 
My Grandmother was a member of the "Order of Oddfellows", Women's Hope Lodge, Bradford. The medal that the other lady is wearing looks very similar to the one that my grandmother had and now belongs to my younger sister. The medal that my grandmother had was dated 1921. I have contacted "The Oddfellows", but that was years ago. I might send them an e-mail with the photograph attached and see if they can help me with it.
