Hi Jan and Doug,

:)Thankyou for your invite to this new forum, I hope everything is well and it's a pleasure to be part of so many people who give their information freely without question and who help so many people with their family's journey into the past which can be very frustrating as we know but, once you start you can't stop, My sister Wendymac and myself have torn out more hair found more swear words than we knew and nearly thrown the comps in the bin at times but it is rewarding when you find your answers, and with the help we had as well with some brick walls and pointed us in the right direction, Thankyou, hopefully I can help someone too maybe in the future, Good Luck to you all and happy searching, xx

Hi Wen, its been another one of those multi nanna days, childminding, cooking with usual kitchen café customers, social worker, crafting, story reading on sleepovers etc, so just put that message on when I came down,thats the first time I stopped, a little me time now I think,with a large glass of Jamie's,(+)(^^)(+)

Great to have you here, even better that you've already got two brains working as one with Wendymac - how cool that your sister enjoys your hobby too. By hobby I mean the family history not the drinking of Jamies - although Wendymac may enjoy that too - we'll find out.

Wendy that sounds just like me and my sister, she does the drinking and I'm supposed to do the thinking - but like you the brains don't behave themselves lol. Have a good day at work - that's where I am at the mo, sneakily looking on the internet - shushhhh don't tell the boss;)
