Hello everyone

Have just come indoors after spending the day digging. I swear that if they gave prizes for the stoniest ground, I would win the gold medal! As for being 100, right now, I feel every day of it!:)
We will have to have a stony ground competition! I might win!! Your land has been cultivated a lot longer than ours so maybe yours will have had more stones picked?

I think I would win as this particular piece of land, (part of a field) has not been cultivated for at least sixty five years. :)

We needed some hardcore (one and a half tons) for another turkey shed base, and I have been filling the area with stones I have been digging out of a 50ft x 50ft square piece of land. Another two wheelbarrow loads and I will not need to buy any hardcore!

Hey Wonky, great to see you again, now we really are back as one big happy 'rellie hunting' family.

How's the turkey's?

Hi LianeH, it is good to be here and super to meet up again with so many friends. The turkeys are fine, thank you and really enjoying this fine spell of weather. I have poults hatching regularly, so am fairly busy, but having lots of fun.

Hi to you Wonky! Hope Mr Wonky is well too!
(I bet he will love being Mr Wonky... lol)

Great to see you back with the gang here on TD!

I love the idea of Mr and Mrs Wonky.....perhaps the name being more fitting than you realise - with all those stones it must make walking your ground a rather wonky experience

How's all the livestock??

Ann

Hallo wonky, great to see you. :) It must be that unaccustomed sunshine that has hardened the ground. I tried to plant some sweet peas yesterday and had to find a stick to make a hole for them.
