Hi everyone - I've just come aboard, and you can probably work out that my name is Arthur.

I'm looking forward to joining in and sharing things that we do and don't know.

It's a long time since I introduced myself on a forum (and I think I might have overlooked it completely sometimes), so to get off on the right foot, here's a list of some of my family history surname interests:

In Yorkshire - Bartle, Bilton, Craven, Emmott, Hirst, Kellet(t), Meaburn, Mennile/Meynell, Metcalf(e), Palliser, Robinson, Rutter, Shipley, Stow, Wilkinson
In Co. Durham - Meaburn, Metcalfe, Robinson
In Perthshire & Lanarkshire - Campbell, Kennedy
In Renfrewshire - Mann, Millar, Wilson
In Co. Armagh - Gibson, Harcourt

- but as is the nature of things, people moved around, so they sometimes crop up in other places too.

OK - I might hold the record for the fastest mistake. I meant to put this in the Greetings sub-board, so I've reposted it there. I was then going to ask you to delete this one, but you've already replied to it. Help!!!!!

Your wish is our command, well I hope it is. I think I have moved you into the right armchair. :)
 
The armchair should be much more comfortable than your old one.
It has been re-upholstered at an enormous cost. :D
