Hi there from a freezing South Africa

Thanks for warm wishes, It's a snow leopard, OK not found in Africa, but it's a rare & beautiful cat - that's what I want to say below my avatar but can't work out how to get that info below the pic

Hi Sheila, we are 6000ft above sea level (near Johannesburg) and it gets cold in the winter (overnight can go as low as minus 5 but if the sun shines it can be up to 20 deg C midday) but to make matters worse our houses are not centrally heated, so you have a heater on in the room you are working and the rest of the place ise a fridge!!! then you move off to watch a bit of TV in the evening and put on a heater there and get a huge quilt and wrap up!! but then in summer even up this high we get temps of 32+ but we do not have humidity this high up. Can't wait to get back to UK and have a warm house all winter. Won't miss the high summer temps but do like it to be pleasantly warm - oh well can't have everything.

I think that's what's called your status ... and you can do it from your Profile page I think ;) Mutters would know, where is she?

He is a beautiful cat. The tag below the avatar is awarded by Administration. It takes a bit of time to earn it. But you can add a message on your status by clicking on your user name.

You can also create an Album and put some pictures in there with a small write up about the snow leopards.

Hi Mutters, think I may have got the description in (will know when I post this reply, if not I will try again). I remember now that the words under the avatar are awarded, hopefully one day I will be a "worthwhile somebody":confused:
