I have managed to track J.C. from mid 1830's to the 1851 census where he was a Coastguard at Newton by the Sea, Nr Alnwick, Nothumberland. Census Ref:
HO/107/2419. It looks as if he signed his name as Conner.
There is no trace of him for the 1861 census nor for his wife Catherine Connor.
Then in 1871, Catherine completes her census return as a widow. Also she has changed the name to O'Connor and she has moved to London, 51 British Street, Bow.

From 1871 on I have traced the Connors/O'Connors right up to the 1960's
I would like to hear from anyone who can find Jeremiah and Catherine for 1861, and/Or the possible death date for Jeremiah.
