Can anyone offer an explanation of the abbreviation o/w against Minnie Turner's Entry?


My Alfred H Turner with the same dob is married but not to Minnie

His Wife Clara is enumerated as married and can be found with their 2 daughters elsewhere

I have an idea but would welcome other suggestions - thanks

I would suggest o/w = otherwise, ie Minnie Turner, otherwise Ford

Thank you, that was my thought and would fit with Alfred being my chap and he is living with Minnie who is not his wife.
I wanted a second opinion, as I might have just been making assumptions, to fit with what I was thinking.
