No. Nothing to do with my dad whatsoever. My mother said that it would've been a member of Dad's family, which shows how easy it is to head off-track.
My mother, bless her heart, is one who can never find a thing because she has cupboards full of clutter. Dad was very organised and orderly, probably because he'd been in the army; he would not have placed that photo with his papers. It is more likely that my mother found it somewhere and slipped it in there for safekeeping, despite her assurances that she'd never seen it before.
