The Fearless One. Rest in Peace.
Can someone try this please? It is the first of the two entries under Amo 1554.
I think it states Nata et baptism.. of? Margerita? Algor something something.
Depending on the source the date is 11 Feb 1554 or 31 Aug 1554, the first name is also shown as Maryanna or Margeria. I think I can discern a 't' in the name but I could be wrong, probably I am.
I cannot find a letter in the 16th and 17th century alphabets I have that resemble the first letter of the second something, the closest is a C but in the alphabet the straight line is horizontal not vertical, the line could belong to the word above that word, the writer does seem to use long line.
I'm not really sure whether Nata is a shortened version of Nathaniel or even whether it's a name.
Please enlighten me.
