Angela, if you find the forum for UK queries on the Home Page [edit: I mean the one called English Counties], then click on the little arrow to open the forum and then click on Lancashire, then click on Post New Thread and type away ...

and most importantly don't worry -- if things end up in the wrong places, the Mods love to move them

Exactly as Mugs has said. :)

Also, have a read of this section of the forum. The bits that have a pink background are 'stickies' and stay at the top of the section so that it is easy to find and read them again. They are the most important bits. ;) There's a lot to take in but don't be afraid of asking. :)

Don't worry Angela, you've already asked the question and no doubt one of the Moderators will move your question/post to the appropriate county board. When they do if you can add any more info e.g. where and when the parents, John & Mary married (if you know) that would help people to help you.

You'll soon get the hang of things.
