Annie Emily Elsworth Clark, NZ or UK?

This individual has me confused and I would like to find her Birth Record.

I know she married in 1879 in New Zealand to Robert Hislop Long who was born around 1855 in Glasgow-Barony, Scotland or (unlike his siblings), born in Ireland (FamilySearch quotes some Scotland Censuses). Perhaps Annie was born in Scotland, perhaps even in Ireland, or maybe she needs discovering somewhere in New Zealand. It doesn't help that no parents are mentioned anywhere I have looked and that New Zealand Death records have no parents' names on them- Annie Longs are prolific but poorly identified.
Perhaps the extra christian names, Emily and Elsworth, were given later- confirmation etc. I just haven't figured her out at all!

strange thing is that in 1879 in New Zealand an Annie Emily Ellsworth Clark has a daughter Rosie says father Mr Clark

On her marriage the newspapers reported her as Annie Elizabeth Clark, second daughter of the late John Clark, Malmsbury, Victoria (see attachment)

There are also newspaper reports in 1882 about their divorce, which gives her maiden name as Annie Emily Elmsworth Clark and claims that she was committing adultery with a man named Stokes (starts at the first new paragraph):

(The above details appear in several other newspapers, search for Long v Long and Stokes)

I assume that this is the same man, from the Kyneton Observer, Victoria, 11 Aug 1859:

MARRIED.
On Monday last, at Taradale, by the Rev. Mr Low, Mr John Clark, Brewer, of Malmsbury, to Miss Annie, second daughter of Mr Donald Jack, of Glasgow, Scotland

Do you know Annie's approximate YoB? There are births registered in Victoria to John Clark and Ann nee Jack as follows:

1860 - Unnamed Female. Born at TARA
1861 - Ann. Born at Tarnagulla

The Kyneton Observer 25 May 1861:
BIRTH. On the 12th inst, at Newbridge, Loddon, Mrs John Clark, formerly of Malmsbury, of a daughter

Firstly, it is the LONG family I am tracking, but looking for the DNA contribution from the suggested Annie...Clark. Perhaps this is Annie's 2ND Marriage? The one I assumed was my relatives' 1ST Marriage, but with a totally different name to the newspaper report!
NZ BDM:

1879/1847Annie Emily EllsworthClarkRobert HislopLong

BUT, this is what I saw in another newspaper clipping:
"

Annie Emily Elmsworth Clark
Other
21 Oct. 1882
Wellington, Wellington, New Zealand
21 Oct. 1882
Wellington, Wellington, New Zealand
The New Zealand Mail"

Her approximate DoB was given to me in a family tree as 1857.

The newspapers frequently get things wrong, so I wouldn't be too concerned about the report saying that the bride was Annie Elizabeth Clark rather than Annie Emily Ellsworth Clark. The civil registration entry has the correct name, as does the divorce.

I assume that the 1882 newspaper clipping you mention is the divorce I already referred to in post #3. For some reason the first link I added didn't work, so here they are again (the first one starts quite a way down under the heading LONG v LONG AND STOKES. The second article is a continuation of the first, published the following day. Fingers crossed they both work this time!

The official registration says Father "NR" (presumably meaning not recorded or none recorded). I also presume that the birth took place before the marriage

Thanks @Andromeda! The first clipping makes everything relevant, as it is Mr Long I am following. I assume Rosie must be the daughter of Mr Clark, or am I barking up the wrong tree again? It seems there were no children from the Long-Annie EE Clark marriage, so I can discard that line of DNA and try some Long siblings/cousins.

Rosie is illegitimate, her father is not known. Her mother is Annie Emily Ellsworth.

However, this is based entirely on what the index says, so to be 100% certain you would need to buy the certificate.
