This looks like it says Rev’d George ..not sure of the next words....it’s being sold in Cornwall...but folk move about...obviously when he was a boy and it appears to be painted on laid paper....which is going to put him 1780/1790 I’m thinking....his clothing also indicates that date.

So.... is anyone able to work out what it says about this chap?

I know what I can see after George, but even that keeps changing! :rolleyes:

All help appreciated. :)
 
There is (the Reverend) George Mallory (clerk) in the Poll Books for Mobberley Cheshire, in 1834 and 1836 living in the Mobberley Rectory
