Another Picture that needs a date

Knows where to find the answers!
After some gentle prodding..;)

This picture is in my Album, as another unknown. I think it is my maternal g.gma
Louisa Jane Brown (Slatter) 1854-1927 as she has, to me, a striking resemblance to my mum and her sister - all 3 pictured below, but having a rough date for the picture would help identify just who it is.img048.jpg

Do you see what I see

Yes, there does seem to be some similarity there.

Trying to get a handle on Louisa Jane and any possible offspring - was she Brown née Slatter or Slatter née Brown? And to save us finding what you already know, do you have 1871 and 1881 census details, please? (And any birth details etc)

Given the likely age of the photo, it's possible that both children are boys. That fooled me for a long time with one of mine, until I read that boys wore dresses till they were 'breeched' at maybe 5-7 years old.

Thanks Arthur I know all about Louisa Jane Slatter, d/o Samuel (1825 Battle Sussex - 1877 Limehouse and Louisa nee Wood).
Louisa Jane married Henry Brown 30/3/1871 and they had 13 children!
Henry George 1871, Elizabeth Louise 1873-1939, John 1877-80, Albert 1879-1937, Frederic 1880-1881, Matilda 1881-1957, Hannah 1884-1888,
Ada 1886, Ellen 1888-1888, Joseph 1889, Frances Adelaide 1891-1891,
Louisa 1893 and John Thomas 1897.
I have most of the marriages but some of the deaths have eluded me, due to the plethora of Browns with the same name and yob.

1881 census Eastfield St. Limehouse RG11/465/47/32

Edit - I too thought the babe might me a boy - my own brother wore dresses and he was born in the 1930's!
1891 census Blount St. Limehouse RG12/294/119/28
1901 census Eastfield St. Limehouse RG13/320/38/16
Henry Brown died 26/3/1904
1911 census Cayley St. Limehouse RG14 PN1548 SN12

1871 census sees Henry Brown living with his parents (shown as married), in Love Lane Shadwell RG10/544/146/37 and Louisa Jane Brown with her parents in Eastifield St. Limehouse RG10/549/45/30

So presumably we're looking for a son at age 7-8ish? with a sibling under 1. There seem to be a few possibilities in that list - we need some clothing experts to narrow it down.
