Just googled Edward VIII Cipher and from the image it brought up from Wikipedia I don't the cipher on your item could be Edward VIII's cipher, mind you that's only a "don't think" not a "it's not".
Saved that image plus one of George VI's to my "Desktop", tried to put the images on here but for some reason could get the image thingy to browse, I feel sure I've succeeded before.![]()
