Our very own Cornish Maid
Do we have anyone who knows Nottingham?
My great grandfather Edward Copley was born in Arnold (1855) and brought up his 12 children in DAYBROOK, which I believe is/was part of ARNOLD.
His name crops up regularly in the Police Reports of the "Nottingham Evening Post" - mostly for drunken assaults. (So far I've covered 1879-1883.)But the reports are from BULWELL.
Much as I would love it to be him (well, at least there's lots of information!) - would it be likely that an Ag Lab living in Daybrook would be drinking - and tried - in Bulwell? Or is it more likely that this is another Edward Copley ...?
Any advice will be gratefully received!
