Hi everyone - For the last year I've been doing a deep dive into my Beake ancestors. My 4th great-grandmother was Elizabeth Beake (1776-1842), daughter of Thomas Beake (1702-1769) and Elizabeth Friar (dob ; dod unknown). They lived in the general area of Wickhambreaux, though their land holdings extended in north and south-east. Elizabeth married Daniel White (1778-1865) in 1799. Their daughter, Sarah (1801-1887) married George Keel Spong at Preston-by Wingham in 1822. I've moved as far back as the mid 17th century with a fair degree of confidence, using parish registers, marriage licence register summaries, MIs, and wills/probate.
