Can anyone read this inscription?

I know the inscription reads

of
Barnabas Scovell
Who Departed This Life
October 16th 1869
Aged 77 Years

but can anyone make out the 'verse' under this? I've tried various 'tricks' but just can't make out what it says

Could it be from 2 Timothy 4:7

I have fought the good fight,
I have finished the race,
I have kept the faith

I think the first line starts with "I have" and ends with "risen"
Second line starts with a word beginning 'H' then of and end with Desert (?)
