Cause of death - help to read please

Does this say Low Fever? It is from 1850. I looked up Sow fever but it seems it cannot transfer to humans (it was a farming community).

There are lots of mentions of ‘low fever’ in the papers, it seems to have been a term used in connection with a multitude of illnesses.

I'm a retired nurse. We often used the term 'low grade fever'. I suspect with the person being ill for 8 days, they would have had an infection somewhere. Age and date of death might give a bit more context, eg were antipyretic medication available? It is possible in sepsis to have a low temperature or even hypothermia, so I would imagine the person died from an infection.

Hubby had recently biliary sepsis due to a twist in common bile duct. Rectified with a stent. No sign whatever of a fever. You don’t always have a fever with sepsis. Which makes it all the more deadly.

This was his second. The first was when we almost him 8 years ago. This time he turned yellow, but with his cancer struggles we thought it was his liver failing as it will do in the future. But scans revealed a twist in his bile duct. A stent was put in but bacteria normally in the gut went crazy, causing an infection and biliary sepsis. At no time did he have a fever. Always rely on your instincts.
