Could I have some help with this handwriting please?

The Fearless One. Rest in Peace.
Family Search have this image indexed as a male Fowell married Maria Willet 26 Oct 1605 at Ingatestone. I can make out the Fowell surname OK and I think I can see the name Robert in there but I need to be sure, I can also make out the bride's name Maria Willet at the end of the entry.

The entry is just below the small dot on the edge of the left hand side page

That’s much better. Just spotted Robert Fowell and Maria Willet although it’s much more like Robusta and Maria Millet. If you hadn’t told me the names though, I would never have spotted them.

I'm concerned that none of the children baptised at Shenfield and Ingatestone had a mother's name mentioned in their baptism entries,
I saw this family as Robert Fewell and Marie Boughtell who married 20 Apr 1581 at Withersfield, Suffolk.
Giles Fewell their son baptised 12 Mar 1581 at Withersfield, Suffolk.
Giles turns up in Thaxted Essex where he marries Elizabeth Trueman 29 Jun 1603, they baptise all their children in Thaxted.

I found the baptisms of four other children, surnames spelled Fowell, who I believed to be children of Robert and Marie Fewell.
Jeremy 16 Mar 1588 Shenfield Essex.
Thomas 27 Mar 1590 ditto.
Henricus 14 Apr 1604 Ingatestone.

Then I found a Maria Fowell buried 16 Aug 1606 at Ingatestone. Spouse stated to be Robert Fowell. Up to this point I was quite ready to accept that the three children had parents named Robert and Marie but now I'm not sure what the mother's name is.

Now I have found a Roberti Fowell marrying Maria Willet 26 Oct 1605 at Ingatestone.

Jeremy and Thomas had no mention of parent names in their baptism entries.
The baptism entry for Henricus Fowell named his father as Roberti, no mothers name mentioned.

I would think Roberts marriage to Maria Willet would be a second marriage although I couldn't see anything indicating Robert was a widower in the marriage entry.

Around the same time as Giles was baptising children in Thaxted so was a Robert, possibly another son of Robert Fowell and his wife Marie Boughtell.

Oh Derek I wish I could help, those are the type of documents that make me stop my researching. I just have to enjoy the 19th and 20th century. Best of luck with this, or as the young people say 'RESPECT.

Elizabeth

Yes, Derek, perfectly clear Roberte Fowell and Maria Willet, 26th October.
