Date of photo?

I have just discovered this wonderful photo of my Great Grandparents. Any ideas as to when it might have been taken? They were both born 1872, married in 1893 and he died in 1936 and she in 1963.

Going by your Great Grandmother's hat, I would suggest somewhere between 1910 and 1920.....

Thank you ladies. I'm no good at this sort of thing. It is a wonderful photo, I had this image of both of them in my head, needless to say they look nothing like I imagined. Sarah had 20 children and lived to the ripe old age of 90, one tough lady I would say. My Nan her eldest died age 93, so I'm hoping I've inherited their 'live a long life' gene.

A bit late, but I concur 1910 - 20, wow 20 children and still lived to a great age, wonderful woman

I'm going to be a bit contrary here. If it was 1920, that would put them both in their late 40s, but from looking at them I'd say they were more likely in their 30s.

The artificial studio backdrop suggests an earlier date, and note the length of the skirt. There are probably other clues, but I'm not really a costume expert.

I also thought them to be in 30s, what lovely eyes your Gt. G'Mother had, were they green I wonder or a lovely light blue?
