All of the children were born in Little Hadham as well, Joseph 1791/1793, Mary 1795, John 1800, Elizabeth 1802, and Susan 1804. However, her death is listed on 17 Jun 1852 in Layton Grange, Esses, England.

First one is age 53.
The second one came up as no results on GRO

It looks as if her parents Thomas CARTER & Hannah SANDERS married in 1762 at Widdington, Essex - source Boyd's Marriage Index - which is not too far from Little Hadham, so it could be that Elizabeth was born just over the border in Essex.

FreeREG have the transcription of a baptism at Farnham St Mary the Virgin on 12 February 1769 of an Elizabeth CARTER daughter of Thomas & Hannah CARTER. Farnham is only a few miles from Little Hadham, so would seem a distinct possibility to be the baptism of your Elizabeth. Certainly worth further investigation on your part. Another baptism at Farnham in 1771 for a John to the same parents and could perhaps be more children - I haven't looked in any great depth.
