Father's name?

Sis

Rootles out resources!
Can anyone read the father's name of Aug 3rd Ann Daughter....... please? It's a 1755 baptism if that helps. I've tried all sorts of editing but can ee it as others that have transcribed it.

Can you tell us where to find it ourselves? I always find it easier to look at the online version rather than a snipped copy

Its slow to load at the end, then you have to scroll down to page 24. It's water and heat damaged which doesn't help. It's at Medway archives and unfortunately you can't search by name, but better than not having access at all.

Code:

In my original post it should read that I 'can't' see it as others have transcribed it. Did everything to try and make it more clear, other than standing on my head to read it.

I see:
Ann, Daughter of Richard ??? was baptized.

That surname is a beast! Can't even make out the initial letter.

Thanks for trying. How on earth they think they've transcribed the surname is beyond me. The thing is they say it's the surname that I want it to be, that's why I thought I'd better ask for help.
