Found you!!

New id for me too, but the folks here are as helpful and friendly as ever, welcome to the flock.

Hi sooz C|:-)I remember you! Glad that you have finally found us (+)(^^)(+)
I'm an 'old' face too but with a new name.
Have fun!

Great to see you here! Who could not love and remember your avatar!
They're tricky with different names here but there's no doubt you'll work them out.8(:-)Jane

As Jane said, Welcome in Sooz to a place where mysteries abound & are hopefully solved.

They had temporarily removed it Tony, as when I spotted Sue's post it wasn't there. It's back now as I got a shock when it appeared BEFORE the response I'd previously read. Between the two of us Sue found out (I sent a PM) but at least the address is now visible to all.

Hi Jane

I never did find out how to go back a day or two. I can only see "Today's Posts" and it isn't there. Must be cuz I's thick!

Tony
PS Not that it matters any more, if it's still there somewhere, although I'm not sure if I can't see it how others would find it either.

PPS Not that it's relevant, but my 4 and half years old half Aussie grandson was wearing an England Cricket shirt today! I wonder why.

When you're 4 and a half the "and a half" is very important so I have to remember to add it on each time I refer to him

When I reached my final height of five feet seven and three quarters of an inch, that three quarters of an inch became very important, cos I could then say my height was about five foot eight. :D

The thread has gone. It's not in my subscribed threads so you ain't thick! I must just have been lucky with my timings (or your location - you slept through it all but I was up and about and confined to bed with a dreadful cold so I was visiting lots of sites yesterday.)

As to the cricket shirt - small wonder - him and his shirt! We need fresh blood and experience and our selectors really haven't managed this balance well for a while - but what do I know.

Sorry for hijacking your welcome thread sooz!

If I could reach 5ft 7ins I'd be more than happy - the last 3/4 would just be a bonus. I'm only thankful that I still measure 5'2" and contrary to my grand-daughters oft spoke insistence I haven't started shrinking (YET).

Oh if only, I reached my full height of 5ft, 4inches and stopped growing. Ok that's not a bad height but when everyone else in my immediate family is 5ft, 9 and above it ain't fair :(. Even hubby gets fed up with having to reach to the high shelves for things (he has his uses lol)

Tony, do you ever click on "What's new?" or adjust the days in your profile page?

Thanks Wendy. Both good advice. Duly acted upon!

Tony (>6'2) - just to annoy the smallies

I'm a very smally 5'1.5, the .5 IS important, well it is when you're horizontally challenged. Never bothered me when I weighed in at 7 stone as in good proportion, but now!!!!!!!!!!!!!!, well don't ask how many stones, let's just say I feel square shaped :D.

Tony, if you were a female I'd suggest you are a beech ;) (as Italians' would say, hubby Italian so I'm not being politically incorrect, he would join in the fun)

I'm even more horizontally challenged at 5ft nothing......and yes, I can remember being 6 stone 7lb for many years and never believing I would get any heavier - hey ho
