Hello, from Manchester. Not as exotic as some previous posters, but we do a great line in warm rain in summer.
I've been doing my family tree for a couple of years with varying degrees of success. Having Jones on one side, and soldiers killed in action on the other is making it a little harder than it could be. Hopefully, I can not just receive guidance, but possibly offer help here too.

I'd like to ask you a question about your Theobald line, to avoid going off topic, or piste as we often say, I'll start a topic on the "Essex" board of this site, just click on "English Counties" and then "Essex", I'll entitle it simple "Theobald".
