Greetings from Gloucester

Have now responded to Peter via my profile - must admit I didn't realise that you could put messages on there and I found another that had been on since April! I have also responded to that too and feel rather ashamed that I hadn't noticed it earlier. So thank you for the information.

I only saw it because we routinely check profile posts for cheeky spam messages. :)
 
Hi Janet, the only problem with responding to their posts on your profile is, they wont know unless they log onto the forum.

The person who messaged you in April hasn't logged in since September, and unless she logs in she wont know that you have replied.

If you start a conversation with them, using the private message system on here, it will generate an email which will be sent to them. People usually check their emails quite often and will see that you have responded. I have an alert on my mobile phone that tells me when I have received an email.
