Headscratching Workhouse Abbrev

This is from my ancestor in 1881 at Saint George's Workhouse. I've been able to decipher the rest but this.

? By PC (Police Constable?) 326 ? Could be 3269, not sure after that.
Remd’ (Remanded?) 1 Week….?…..

Removed? 1 week
Anything else we can see?

That's all I can think of. I can't think what 'P.C.' might stand for otherwise.

Brot. by PC 326 M = Brought by PC 326 M ? Very often when P.C.'s are mentioned in the papers their number is followed by a letter which, I think, denotes their station.
