Good day all,
I stumbled across this forum doing some genealogy research related to the Partlow/Partloe/Partle surname.
I am a Partelow, originally from the New England area of the United States, now located in Honolulu, Hawaii. As far as I can tell, my earliest ancestors settled in Connecticut in the late 17th century. The furthest back I can trace is Richard Partelow, born in Stonington, Connecticut on August 23, 1708 and died in Saint John, New Brunswick on March 12, 1800, some years after having evacuated New York with other American loyalists in 1783.
I am eager to learn more about my English ancestry and make friends with other eager genealogists (professional and otherwise!).
Best,
Tim

You will find the folks here friendly and eager. I'm in the southern U.S. with deep New England roots (and a few Loyalists, as well). So very glad you are here.
