Hello and Thank You for allowing me join.

Another Newbie here.

I am Irish, living in Limerick, and have been actively involved in genealogy for about 10 years - since they started releasing Irish records online. I have DNA tested with Ancestry and MyHeritage and manage both my data and my husbands.

Looking forward to chatting with people and hopefully making further progress with my research.

I have a good lot of Irish research that I have done over the years and it is just starting to get easier with the advent of irishgenealogy.ie.
Hopefully we can help you in your quest.
My wife has people in Limerick and her mum was from Kerry which is just over the border from Co.Clare

Hi Brian, there is the little matter of the Shannon Estuary between Kerry and Clare :) But hubby's great great grandfather and great great great grandfathers were ships pilots living on Scattery Island, in the Shannon Estuary.

Where are your wife's people from in Limerick? I love Kerry.

My wife has two uncles who were born in Co.Kerry and they both married Wives who were from Co.Limerick, one from Patrickswell and the other from Mungrat.
One has a driving school based in Lower Hartsthonge St,Limerick
