I first started with my families genealogy about 15 years ago after the loss of my mother I was going through some of her things and found an old obituary of my grandfather ( my dad's dad ) I never really knew him other than a vague memory from early childhood, I never really knew any of my dad's relatives so I thought maybe, just maybe I could find some information about him on the net, needless to say I typed in his name and all kinds of genealogy sites popped up hosting not only his name but also his father's and grandfather's. So begin my love of the hunt, I have been researching since. I am so looking forward of maybe finding more information of my family on this site.

So many people drift in and out of forums like this one, people get distracted by life events etc and it always makes me wonder did chat chat from Kentucky carry on the research and what have they been able to discover?
