Hi, I was so excited by the thread I found earlier - and which I contributed to as soon as I registered - that I forgot my manners and did not introduce myself. I'm Carol and I'm from Edinburgh. I've been researching my family tree since around 2004 and accepted long ago that I would never be finished with it! :rolleyes:

Looking forward to finding my way around... and maybe even being able to help here and there. You only need to ask. :)
 
Welcome aboard Carol. My great auntie lives in Edinburgh (98 and going strong!!). Good to have you with us and join in the funC|:-)

Barb, as you probably are already aware, there are Stewarts crawling out of the woodwork up here... but you never know - we could very well be connected in some way. :cool:
 
Welcome in Carol, nice to 'meet' you. 'Himself' has a touch of the Stewarts in him, but our daughter is looking after all of that lot. :D.

My 1st cousin[x1removed] married a Stewart but am too busy sorting her Family line [& mine] to delve into his beginnings just now. I'll leave that to their other rellies. ;)

Believe me - Stewarts in Scotland are as numerous as Jones in Wales! :eek::D

By the way - I just love your avatar! I think you are going to fit in quite nicely with this crowd. :)
