Hi there my name is Robin and I have been dabbling in this hobby for about 10 years. Getting a little further every year that more information makes it's way to the web. Could still learn more about customs and traditions of the yesterday years. My search still has many gaping holes in it.
 
C|:-) Hello and Welcome Robin, it certainly is an absorbing hobby and you will find lots of willing people here who will try to fill those gaping holes or point you in the right direction to fill them yourself.
Have a good look around and post those queries.

Hi Robin........I am an hour west of you in Brampton, Ontario. What countries are you researching?? I have a few myself......Canada (Ontario and PEI), Scotland, England, Jamaica West Indies, Colombia SA and Spain).......and the odd one (sorry GrannyB, lol) in the US.

Can't remember now how many there are of us from Canada.....3? Half Hour lives north of me. Another in BC. Welcome to the group. :)

Welcome to another Canadian. We have a few Canadians here, but never enough for a country our size. Looking forward to hearing more about your family... Hubby has Bates from Brant County in his family...
