Hello everyone,

I am Matthew from a town in the Middle of New South Wales, Australia called Dubbo. I am an on again off again family history looker upper. I am helping my mother try and sort through her family history and there have been many banging of heads against brick walls.

After a period of time away due to family and work I have now found myself with time on my hands to get back into the murky...I mean wonderful world of family history.

Looking forward to interacting with you all at some stage.

Hi Matthew and welcome to the forum!

Have a good old rummage round, find a likely section and post your brick wall(s). ;) The sleuths here love something to get their teeth into.

So I know this is the welcome thread but wasn't sure where else to put it.

Is it ok to start a thread about another branch of the family tree or do I need to wait until the other thread has died out completely? Also how many at a time as I have quite a few branches.
