Help reading baptism entry.

This is from the baptism records of Copford, Essex, 1770, but I can't see that it's been transcribed, so did the baptism even go ahead? I'm hoping it's for someone whose baptism I've been looking for, for a few years now. It is actually four lines below one for the family that I am after, and I can put a copy on here of the complete page, but just wondered if anyone could have a guess - the other entry is quite clear - so is it just wishful thinking on my part.

Perhaps - James son of James Fox Septr ?11
or James "surname" (not sure of what it might be) of James 3rd Septr

How are the other baptisms written?

Looking at the page I can now see that it does say - James son of James & ?????? with no date entered
and if Robert (the entry 4 above) is yours I can see how this entry does bear a close resemblance to James and Hester Tiffin(?)
Could the boys have been twins?

That is just what I was thinking and wondered if they were meant to be listed together, but whoever entered them forgot to link them in some way. I have been looking for a baptism of James Tiffin (you were correct with the surname) for ages, but could only find a possible baptism then burial in 1763. James and Hester/Hetty definitely had a son James that survived as he is mentioned in both their Wills - in Hetty's she says he is of Witham. I found a burial for a James Tiffen of Witham in April 1831 aged 60, so a birth of about 1770/71. Am hoping I have found him.

That was my thought as well, the clerk found he had missed entering one of the boys and added him in at the end

Hope he is your missing James.
