James Reed in 1939

I am still working through my Reed family.

I am looking for James in the 1939 Register, he is very recently widowed, his wife's probate gives their address as 18 Newcastle Street, North Shields, Tynemouth.
His occupation is house carpenter/joiner/builder
I have a dob from his baptism record of 1 Jun 1876
I can't find him ... help, please

There is a James Reed with a d.o.b. transcribed as 01 Jan 1876 at 18 Newcastle Street - a widow - occupation Building Contrtactor. Looking at the original it looks like 01 June 1876 to me.

Eventually found the page on Ancestry - they have him transcribed as James REEP
