I am looking for these two brothers

They were both born in Worcester. There parents were John Harris an Iron Moulder and Fanny Harris (Frances Elizabeth Pursell).

John Edward Harris was born in 1860. He was last seen in 1861 with his parents in Worcester. He is not seen with the family in 1871, although there is a suspect 1871 census of a John Harris age 11 in the workhouse.
RG10; Piece: 3050; Folio: 155; Page: 7;

Henry Harris was born in 1863. He was last seen in 1881 with the family, aged 17. I cannot read his occupation then.
RG11; Piece: 2917; Folio: 19; Page: 31

Can anyone help? With thanks Elizabeth

I would hate this to be my last image of him. I wonder if 'trouble' was a reason that people changed their names and some go on to live settled lives.

Hi Elizbeth,

John Edward Harris and Henry Harris were my great-grand uncles. Their brother (Edwin) was my great grandfather and his son Edwin was my grandfather and his son Ralph was my father.

I was just wondering what your connection was?

Thanks,

Richard Harris

Hi Richard

Welcome to TopDog.

John Edward and Henry Harris were brothers to Mary Ann Purcell Harris, my great grandmother. Mary Ann died aged 23, when my grandfather Walter Benjamin was just 2 years old. The young family moved back to Somerset, where her husband was from.

I will send you a private message, look out for it.
With thanks Elizabeth
