Did Francis marry Mary Roberts?
Francis Keverne and Mary are the parents of Martha baptised 19 Feb 1764. ( my line). Martha married Solomon Williams and there are replies about her elsewhere on the Cornwall site and going forward with her,all is well.
The problem lies with what is her mother's surname and the rest of Martha's siblings plus spelling of father's christian name.
Martha's father is spelt Frances as have these between 1751 and 1766 that I think are Martha's siblings.
Allice 1851 . Loveday 1754. Mary 1759 and William 1766.
There is Ann (father Francis) 1756. William is also there again with father spelt Francis this time.
The only marriage that I can see is 9th November 1749 at St Keverne.
Should I go with her?
I have no idea who Francis' parents are and have also had difficulty in finding parents of Mary Roberts, if indeed she is the wife of Francis.
There is also Francis Keverne baptised 5th February 1749 with parents Francis and Mary but i have discounted him because he is baptised before the marriage of the other Francis and Mary and I am sure something would have been said or written at the baptism .
