Hello again and thank you for all of the help with my last enquiry. I have looked everywhere that I can think of for Henry Massen born 1848 Walsoken, Mary Ann Massen born 1850 Walsoken and Louisa Massen born 1854 Walsoken. Their parents are Joseph Massen Occup: Cordwainer and Ann Overton.

Have found all the other kids baptised under Massen, once under Mason and another under Massey in the Walsoken records and their first born, William born 1830 at St. Margarets, Kings Lynn. Joseph and Ann lived in Wisbech/Walsoken from 1841 to 1871. I have the census records. Where else do you think that I can look? I have read through the original records that I could find at familysearch. Checked Norfolk Baptism Project and Freereg. I have also looked on Ancestry and Findmypast whenever they offer a free look. Couldn't find them there either.

Thanks in advance for any advice.

In the 1851 census Henry and Mary Ann are with the family but Ancestry has them transcribed Wassen. Mary Ann apparently married 7 Sep 1881 to William Arnold and is with Ann (widow) in her married name in that years census RG11/1696/17/29.
Maybe the later children were not baptised because Ann herself had a nonconformist baptism?
I think Henry married an Elizabeth and had daughter Emma I found them in 1871 as Massen but didnt note the details. Sorry.
Haven't found Louisa after 1871

Henry Massen is my g. grandfather. I have a lot of information about him, [Census records, marriages, birth/baptisms, newspaper records, you name it, I have it], but I have been searching for over 20 years and still haven't found his baptism record. Henry and Elizabeth Gowler had 12 children and I have also been able to find out a lot of information about all 12 of them. 7 of their sons went and fought in WWI. The family moved from Norfolk to Bradford in Yorkshire and then eventually Bert Massen, Agnes Limbert, [my grandparents] migrated to Australia to be with my parents.

About Louisa Massen - she married George Shaw Hackney in 1875 and they had 7 children.

I just wish that I could tie everything in a nice little bow and have all of the information on everyone. That is the frustrating thing about being a family historian.

Anyway, if anyone has any suggestions on where I could keep looking, please let me know.
