I have found a baptism for a William DUNBABIN in 1754 and his parents are named as George and Magdalen.
Looking for George and Magdalen's marriage, I have found one for a George DUNBABIN and a Moadland WIBBEY in 1748.
Bearing in mind how Magdalen might be pronounced (for example, Magdalen college, Cambridge, which is pronounced Mawdlin) could Magdalen and Moadland be the same person?
The events took place in Cheshire, in and around Runcorn.
Opinions, please.
Thank you,
